Soalan lazim.

Wahhhh. Ada masa sikit update blog. Yay!

Jap. Nak tengok post lama. WOWWWW! 2015. Terskip setahun sehhh. Power waaa isi masa dengan aktiviti aktiviti yang menarik. Haha. Kalau lepas lepas nie ada masa lagi nak mengarang menulis menyajak bagai... I'll do that soon. Dok enjoy life sampai teknik nak mengarang pun dah berkarat. Haha.

Post hari nie adalah berkaitan dengan salah satu dari beribu juta soalan common murid. Ha. Lepas nie, kalau ada peluang bertanya sana sini sikit kat member member cikgu lain, boleh buat post pasal nie lagi. Okay. Without further ado...

Edited from the cartoon below.

If I get this kinda question, I used to respond, "Taklah. Sambung tulis atas meja je. Nak tulis kat baju kawan sebelah boleh jugak." But last year, I read somewhere, 'sebagai guru atau ibu bapa, jangan sesekali jawab soalan murid/anak dengan sindiran atau perlian'.

Therefore, I changed my style. Setiap kali ditanya soalan sebegini, saya hanya perlu melemparkan renungan tajam saya dan mereka faham. Kalau diorang tak faham pun, akan ada kawan yang tegur atau tolong jawabkan. Ha. Senang lagi gitu.

I still don't know how to be the kind of teacher I was before (prior to 2015), the fun and cheerful me. I miss that. Dengan students pun boleh bergurau senda macam member, lagi-lagi kalau kat luar kelas. Kalau ada masalah ke apa, memang diorang berani cerita sebab the trust is there and diorang suka mintak pendapat. Dalam kelas pulak, they know the boundaries. Sangat best perasaannya masa muda mudi sikit tu.

Sekarang nie, bengis je kerjanya. Pernah jugak tercalon dalam anugerah cikgu paling garang (sbb pnh jadi tukang kira undi masa tu. Second highest vote after Cikgu Ibrahim yg memang berturut-turut tak pernah lepas takhta dari anugerah tu) and I kinda love-hate that title. Suka sebab the kids mmg sangat dgr cakap. Tak cakap pun xpe dah sebab diorang automatic diam kalau tetiba nampak masa dok main. Tak suka pulak sebab kekadang buat lawak dalam kelas pun, depa tak berani nak gelak atau macam muka 'haa teacher cuba buat lawak ke.' Hm. Tak best woh. Perasaan dia macam kita nie musuh diorang ke eh. Diorang diam dan dgr cakap sebab takut je ke. Bkn sebab respect ke. Bila nampak budak problematic semacam, tanya apa masalah dia pun, tak berani nak bgtau. Tak best. Memang tak best.

Pernah tetiba kena relief kelas yang tak pernah masuk and I didn't even know sorang murid pun dalam tu. First thing I heard was, a girl whispered (bisik stail budak-budak nie, tak macam bisik sangat pun) to her friend, "Eh, diamlah. Aku dengar, cikgu nie garang gila." Haaa... Bila pandang dia, terus dia tunduk, tak pandang kita langsung dah sampailah habis tiga puluh minit relief tu. Fuh.

Hm. Masih tercari-cari identiti diri. How to change aa. I tried but... Entohhh. Bila masuk kelas je, mulut tetiba tak reti senyum. Pelik kan. Okaylah. Bye.

Nie yang ori.

A Personality Quiz...

I took a personality quiz after being urged by my sisters. My brother took it and it seems interesting. I think I did the same quiz when I was in Form 2 but can't really remember what I answered. So, here's the result...

Your view on yourself:
You are intelligent, honest and sweet. You are friendly to everybody and don't like conflict. Because you're so cheerful and fun people are naturally attracted to you and like to talk to you.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.

The seriousness of your love:
Your have very sensible tactics when approaching the opposite sex. In many ways people find your straightforwardness attractive, so you will find yourself with plenty of dates.

Your views on education
Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.

The right job for you:
You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.

How do you view success:
You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.

What are you most afraid of:
You are afraid of things that you cannot control. Sometimes you show your anger to cover up how you feel.

Who is your true self:
You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

My view on the result?
. I personally think that everything stated above is true. However, not on the views of education. Yes, I believe education is very important but I don't study hard. I'm a super lazy woman, love procrastinating and I don't really deserve to be where I am now.
. Another one is at the final result where I'm mature and reasonable. That is not me when I'm angry. I become irrational. Especially in relationships.

Iman...

Honestly, my iman's getting weaker by day.
Especially after the Ramadhan is over.
Please pray for my success in this life and the hereafter.
Please, even though I don't know who you are and you don't know who I am...

The weak me.

Muslim)

Update:
- Finished performing at MFest. It wasn't that great but it wasn't that bad too.

Posted this on my Facebook status and deleted it but decided to place it here since I haven't posted any for

quite some time.

♥ ♥ When you're being missed by many, loved by a lot, well-liked by a large number and hated by just a few... Please know that few people who hate you may be having trouble seeing your good deeds because of their hatred. Just stay true to yourself and InsyaAllah, everything will be fine because He's with you all the time. Mode: Still learning to forgive and trying to be as sincere as possible to everyone. :~)

A gamble.

My Facebook status update here:

♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ A gamble. It's currently 9 degrees outside and I'm still struggling in my bed with the notes in front of me when it's already 8.11am. The exam is at 8.50am. Will I make it through? Amin~ Mode: Honestly, I'm not ready for this. Tawakkal 100%

Update:
- Exam in less than an hour.
- Padan muka. Salah sendiri.

.:ilyanafauzy signing in at 1.41pm:.

Alhamdulillah the exam was okay although I only managed to study for less than an hour. You think I'm gifted? Think again. Maybe our definition of "Okay" isn't the same. :~)

Just so people know, I only have this one paper to sit for exam which means that I should be in my holiday mood. I've planned to fill this cold winter by hitting the island down under, Tasmania, from the 26th of June. Here's my initial holiday schedule:

  • With Jijol:
    • 21 July - 25 July : Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia
  • With the Usrah members:
    • 26 June - 01 July (9am) : Hobart, Tasmania, Australia
  • With Myra, Mira, Faiz, Myra:
    • 01 July (10pm) - 2 July : Auckland, New Zealand
    • 02 July - 05 July : Rotorua, New Zealand
    • 06 July - 08 July : Wellington, New Zealand
    • 08 July - 10 July : Christchurch, New Zealand
    • 10 July - 12 July : Dunedin, New Zealand
    • 12 July - 15 July : Queenstwon, New Zealand
  • Alone:
    • 15 July - 16 July : Christchurch, New Zealand
  • With Azrul and his friends:
    • 16 July - 21 July : Melbourne, Australia
  • With Hafiz Hazny, Sya, Farah, Min, Afiq
    • 23 July : Watching NRL or AFL at the Sydney Cricket Stadium
  • With fellow cohortmates:
    • 30 July : Dragon boating in I dunno where.

So, that's my initial holiday plan. But it seems macam sentiasa ada problem je with each of the place or date/ Dunno what message Allah's trying to send to me. But I know He knows what's best for me. Here's the later things happened.

  • Gold Coast:
    • Jijol decided not to go. It was mutual. I felt the same way too. Luckily, we haven't bought the ticket for Gold Coast and cancelled the plan.
  • Hobart:
    • For Hobart, TAS, K. Nad has bought the return ticket for AUD200 but too bad, I've to cancel that one too due to something that came up quite suddenly that I can't avoid and I can't tell you. It's SUPER IMPORTANT that saya berserah je burn duit ticket macam tu je. Sorry friends. T_T
  • New Zealand:
    • For New Zealand, I'm very sure of myself that I'm going there but my friends, they're still undecided due to the volcanic ash coming from Chile and the earthquake in Christchurch. Sebenarnya cuak gak tapi the previous two holidays dah cancel, takkan this ticket nak burn jugak?? Tamaooo (T_T)
  • Melbourne, NRL/AFL, Dragon boating:
    • Up till now, there hasn't been any changes and I hope there will not be any. The NRL/AFL date isn't final yet but I wish that they won't be doing before the 21st. If they're going before that, I've decided to go on my own. Saya okay je :~) Heee.

La Tahzan.
Cannot sad-sad one! Heee

Update mode:
- Seriously, I pray that Allah gives me the strength to carry on and redha with whatever he has in store for me.

Suicidal.

This post is dedicated to a dear friend and everyone who feels like they're in a similar situation...

To just give up on life is so easy. It takes a second to take the life out of you and you're calling it a shortcut to end everything so that you can make everyone happy (KONONNYA). But what about the nine months your mother sacrificed just to let you out into this world? And that's excluding the years your parents have/had taken to raise you up... Take a moment to think. Think. Before you do anything stupid, anything that can't be undone.

Saya pandai tanak nasi!

THIS WAS POSTED A FEW WEEKS AGO. I DON'T KNOW HOW ON EARTH IT STATES IT'S PUBLISHED 31ST MAY 2011.

Kagum tak dengan headline nie? Kagum tak? Kagum tak?!

WOAH! EXCITED EXCITED EXCITED!!! I just managed to cook rice!!! Woahhhh~!!! Before this, I did this in Malaysia je but since February 2010, I've never bought any rice to cook sebab tak makan nasi sangat here. Kalau beli pun, instant je. Heee. So, I never had the chance to cook the rice on my own. But just now, I just felt the urge to do it and I did it! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee~!

Nasi sudah masak.

FIRST ATTEMPT: WIN!

YAYYYYYYYYYYYY!

When I'm happy...

I'll say it out loud.

When I'm sad...

I'll try my best to hide it with a long-lasting smile...

A fake smile made after 4 nights in a row of crying,
approaching Mother's Day. I miss her.
(Thank you Ain Julia for the picture.)

You don't have to bring yourself down just to say... "I feel you."

I'll get a lot more irritated.

Your feelings is yours and my feelings is mine.

(Selalu teringat ayat Mr. Teoh, my grammar lecturer during my foundation years. He said "feelings" cannot be plural although there's an S there although I still feel like I should be using "are" instead of "is". Hurmmm)

Clumsiness led to frustration.

Struggling... Struggling... Struggling. And YAY! A video is made within 5 hours. And before that, I was planning on what to do for my Microteaching Presentation. After getting the suggestion from FiZi, to make a feart-shaped origami, I was thinking of ways how to make it more creative and engaging for the learners. And I came up with this video. Well, it's not much since I only took a few hours to do it but this is what happens when you take your work to the eleventh hour.

Normally, my classmates created power point presentations but I decided to make this video since PP usually takes a lot more of my time and also, since my presentation is the last for this semester, I wanted to do something different.

Butttt. During the presentation, I did not know what went wrong with the sound system and yes, the whole class watched without any sound. I was totally frustrated throughout the presentation but I don't know who's at fault. Not that I was trying to blame anyone but I just couldn't see what went wrong back then!

My frustration turned into anger and disappointment and sadness and I don't know what else to describe it when.... The moment I sat at my seat, I saw my volume is muted. MUTED. YES. MUTED. Oh My God...

Balik tu menangis. Entah apa-apa lah kan... Why am I so clumsy?

CONGRATULATIONS BARCA ON YOUR WINNING! :~)))
Worth watching and lupakan assignment sebentar. Heee.

Feed a song to your soul.

Do you have any particular nasyid that you love hearing to, no matter what time of the day it is...?
Maher Zain's and Raihan's songs would probably trigger in your mind. But nope, not me. (No offence.)
Here's mine. Enjoy yourself :~)

I'm taking the video with the lyrics so that this song is a lot more understandable to most and perhaps, it would give a bigger impact to your heart. Who knows? InsyaAllah.

Are you blinded... Like me? Have you ever really...

Yes, yes. I've promised not to blog till I've finished my assignment. Guess what? They're not finished. Yeah. You scored that one.

I've been kinda depressed and sad for the past few days. And it's mainly because everyone's celebrating Mother's Day. Yea yea... I was full of envy. I'm sorry dear readers who celebrated Mother's Day. Anyway, while I was in my gloomy mode, I had a fight with FiZi. Biasalah tu... Adat bercinta kata orang. But that didn't affect my feelings sangat but the thought of everywhere people are celebrating their mums, that made feel indifferent. Hmmm. Enough about that. Mother's Day is over anyway. Oh, btw, I bought a mug that has this writing on it. Heee. InsyaAllah kalau ingat, I'll post the picture nanti.

Minus the ".:ilyanafauzy:. "of course. Heee

Let's move on to another story. Because I've been crying hard for the past three nights thinking about mummy. (That explains the question people kept asking me, why do my eyes look different/sembab/bengkak/swollen semenjak dua menjak nie.) Sorry mummy. I've been praying for you a lot too despite the tears. Trust me. I do. Hmmm.

BUT REALLY, IF YOU WANNA BLOG ABOUT MOTHER'S DAY, CHANGE YOUR PROFILE PICTURES TO A PICTURE OF YOUR MOTHER, DO TWEETS ON YOUR MOTHER, PUT FACEBOOK STATUSES ABOUT YOUR MOTHER AND SO ON... I really don't mind. It's just that these feelings saja nak carik gaduh dalam diri. Heeee. It's an inner thing. Nothing to do with any of you. I'm happy to see you guys happy ngan mama korang. Seriously.

Okay, the next story is what I just learned  in a relationship. We feel that we love someone. Our spouse, our partner, our friends, our sisters, brothers. And that's okay. That's normal. But try to rethink and reflect, was it too much? Probably a little too much (I know I did) and we don't get to realize it before it's too late (Sometimes, we might think it's too late but better keep trying than just giving up, surrendering). We're blinded by this thing we call love when our partner sees it as invading their privacy. It only dawns upon us when that someone tells us that he/she needs some space to be on their own. It's not our fault though, we're blinded, remember? It's just that, if we truly love someone, we should be able to understand their needs. The need to have their own time with friends and family and to be on their own. A time when you're not in the frame. And that doesn't mean they don't love you, they don't miss you, or they don't think of you. Well, they do. You just have to take a step back and let him/her breath. And that's when we think that truth hurts when it's actually we ourselves didn't see the signs before, we didn't see their needs, we didn't fulfill theirs when they have actually fulfilled ours, which is to be by our side all the time or whatever you have in mind. So, I just would like you guys and girls out there to hear this song, to really hear it, and to try your best to read in between the lines. If you ever had any fights with your loved ones, think of the wonderful things they've done for you. It sure helps. A lot. But when the love is no longer there, maybe you have to wake up and face the truth; there is no love after all.

Thanks for making me see love from a broader perspective.
InsyaAllah I'll be a better person in the future. InsyaAllah.

Here's the lyrics. You can download the song at Mediafire.

Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman
by Bryan Adams

To really love a woman
To understand her - you gotta know her deep inside
Hear every thought - see every dream
N' give her wings - if she wants to fly
Then when you find yourself lyin' helpless in her arms
You know you really love a woman

When you love a woman then tell her
that she's really wanted
When you love a woman then tell her that she's the one
'cause she needs somebody to tell her
that it's gonna last forever
So tell me have you ever really
- really really ever loved a woman?

To really love a woman
Let her hold you -
till you know how she needs to be touched
You've gotta breathe her - really taste her
Till you can feel her in your blood
N' when you can see your unborn children in her eyes
You know you really love a woman

When you love a woman
then tell her that she's really wanted
When you love a woman then tell her that she's the one
'cause she needs somebody to tell her
that you'll always be together
So tell me have you ever really -
really really ever loved a woman?

You got to give her some faith - hold her tight
A little tenderness - you gotta treat her right
She will be there for you, takin' good care of you
Ya really gotta love your woman...

Then when you find yourself lyin' helpless in her arms
You know you really love a woman
When you love a woman you tell her
that she's really wanted
When you love a woman you tell her that she's the one
she needs somebody to tell her
that it's gonna last forever
So tell me have you ever really
- really really ever loved a woman?

Just tell me have you ever really,
really, really, ever loved a woman? You got to tell me
Just tell me have you ever really,
really, really, ever loved a woman?

She wakes up...

The moment she wakes up, she opens her lids and praised God for the wonderful life He has blown into her. "Alhamdulillah" is her first word of the day. She sits up straight and feels like someone or something is watching her from somewhere and she turns her head to the left. The mirror. The tall, not-so-clear mirror which is now reflecting her image. She sees herself staring deep into it, mesmerized by the reflection that's right in front of her. looking straight into her own eyes. She looks into it and blurts, "My mother was beautiful. So am I..." And she cries.

There you go.
An unedited picture of her waking up.
(Except for the URL obviously)

She misses her mum. Dearly.

Uh, tak buat apa-apa?

Situation: Calling up a friend/whoever/loved ones.

You   : Hello. Hi. (I dunno why I tend to say both of them although it means the same.)

N      : Hello.

You   : What are you doing?

N      : Uh... (Pauses) Nothing.

Ever received this answer from anyone you called? Sometimes, rasa sakit hati sikit kan. Macam tak logic je tak buat apa-apa. Pikir nak jawab punya la lama kan.

Okay, this situation normally happens between FiZi and I. (Er... Isn't that obvious?) Because if I call abah, I've never heard him saying he was doing nothing. And among friends, there are always things to do around.

Anyway, this occurred (again) about 10 minutes ago. I hung up (panas hati punya pasal) after we were on the phone for 46 seconds.  (But he didn't realize it cz I showed no sign of anger while I was still on the phone). Immediately after, I proceeded with my Minesweeper game I paused before calling him. While playing, my mind raced to thinking why he said that he was doing nothing. Uh, that's probably what he really was doing but truth is, I didn't believe him. (I rarely distrust him but in this case, I do. Hee. Sorry :~)) I suspected that he was playing CS or Dota or any sorta game that's available in his Vaio.

My addiction.

I'm not generalizing but I think, a lot of other women out there think that it is illogical to be doing nothing. For example, when I'm being asked what am I doing, I'll at least have an answer. "Just lying down", "Just resting", "Just sitting", "Just thinking..." (Or izzit just me? :~P) Okay. Maybe men consider that as doing nothing but uh... at least, there's an answer instead of "doing nothing".

Um, back to what I was thinking during Minesweeping (Recapping Paragraph 2:  While playing, my mind raced to thinking why he said that he was doing nothing.), hm... Why...? Why... Oh! Maybe the problem is me. Me myself... That's where the problem lies. I used to scold him, saying that he plays games too much. Sorry. I used to ask why was he playing games when he wasn't giving me enough attention. Sorry. I used to blabber about how he should have spent the time on me instead of the games. We used to fight about how games affected our relationship. SORRY! OMG..! Am I THAT annoying or what?! Wuuu. Am very sorry about the past. Er.. Don't worry people. I no longer torture him about him playing games. (Do I sound mature sikit?) Heee I even requested to playing CS together and I hope I will get the chance of killing him. If he kills me first, I'll sulk like hell. Muahahahaaa~!

Okay, so... This means that I've to go easy on him. I've to let him do the things he enjoys doing. Only then, he'll let me know what he is doing exactly. No more "Uh, nothing..." or "Nope, I'm doing nothing...". Takkanlah nak spend 24 hours being with me. If I were in his place pun, I'll get rimas. (Wait, we spend time on each other pun tak sampai 10 minutes a day. Eheh.) Moreover, a marriage would make couples spend more time on each other and at that time, you want to spend 27 hours a day on your spouse also is okay maaa. Heee. So, let me just wait for that kinda life to come to me. It will be a lot more meaningful than now, hopefully

Talking of this, it reminds me to one of Russell Peter's videos. "Women are always thinking". Hahaha. Sure as hell it makes me laugh. He always does. Thanx Mr. Peter!
